Overview

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. In the wake of its global outspread, MAQ Software has created an independent dashboard for the Indian citizens outlining the spread of the virus across the country in terms of key metrics (total confirmed cases, recovered cases & deaths) & essentially highlighting the risk levels for individuals based on its spread in a particular state in terms of its overall population.

Features:

• Displays a summarized view of total confirmed cases, recovered cases and deaths
• Summarized view of % active, recovered cases & deaths in a donut chart
• Allow users to switch the view in terms of daily and weekly perspective
• Trendline supporting the visuals highlighting the daily numbers for active, confirmed, deceased & recovered cases
• Map visual highlighting the state-wide risk levels for individuals based on its spread in a state in terms of its overall population
• Test coverage results highlighted to showcase the effective preparedness at country and state level
• Allow users to view and compare data at state level to evaluate the state level preparedness and spread situation based on which user can effectively take preventive measures

UI/UX Solution:

The COVID-19 dashboard provides a heat map visualisation for the country at state level enabling the end users to evaluate the state level preparedness and spread situation based on which user can effectively take preventive measures. Also, the donut visualisation provides a summarized view of the % active, recovered cases & deaths. Also, the report allows users to switch between daily and weekly perspective enabling the users to gain temporal insights.
